Data Visualisation Workshop information
Date: Wednesday, June 8th
Location: Wellcome Trust Genome Campus, Hinxton, Cambridge CB10 1SD (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/Information/Travel/travel.html)
Venue: Pompeiian room at the Wellcome Trust Conference Centre (inside Hinxton Hall, opposite reception) Most of you will be staying on campus so this will be a minute’s walk from the residential court.
Time: Meet at 9am after you’ve had your breakfast. The workshop promptly starts at 9:15am
Computers will NOT be provided for this workshop so please bring your own laptop and the data you wish to upload into the SIROCCO Data Centre. You should have an FTP client installed (such as Filezilla ).

SIROCCO Data Analysis and Visualization Workshop

This one-day workshop will aim to:
1. Demonstrate the SIROCCO Data Centre, an integrated solution for data storage and analysis.
2. Provide a hands-on introduction and facilitate data submission to the SIROCCO Data Centre.
3. Present and discuss additional analytical tools that can be integrated into the Data Centre
Several worked examples of analysis workflows for small RNA datasets will be presented. The workshop will end with an open discussion on data-analysis and visualisation requirements. We strongly encourage all attendees to bring their own datasets for a hands-on data upload session into the system.
